The 8 stats of your idols combine in their formation, along with chemistry, for a group stat. (If you are wondering, the idol outfits are from Graphite’s Punk Rock Outfits) You’ve probably noticed that different genres, lyrics, and dances appeal to different demographics, it is conveniently shown to you when you are deciding on your next single.

Each stat appeals to two specific demographics. How good your Idols are at Dancing and Vocals isn’t just a generic stat that effects the quality of your songs and performances. But hey, at least your female fans appreciate it. Guess what, that Idol you hired that is just as good at vocals as she is at dancing? Well, your male fans don’t really care that much about vocals, they just want to watch idols dancing. You try to appease everyone, so you appeal to no one. This is where you, and myself, started the long painful path of Idol Group Mediocrity. You started an audition and the first thing you do is look at the Idols’ overall stat level, and then looked at the various stats and went “she seems well-rounded, not weak in anything, I’ll hire her.” It doesn't matter if you can't see genitals in the depiction of intercourse, sex is sex.Īnd saying the game never was supposed to have anything like it, when it did advertise it, and had such content, is simply and purely a lie.I’m sure most of you reading this have done at some point what I also did the first time I played Idol Manager I don't WANT explicit content, but when I buy a game that is advertised as adult-only with mature content, I'm certainly expecting it. Yet, there is absolutely nothing like that in the current version of the game.
#Idol manager adult plus#
BUT there is mention of nature content, plus, the steam page says adult only, plus there were explicit sex scenes CG in early versions of the game. So yes, there is no mention of sex or fricking hardcore on their Kickstarter page. And mature as long as there is some innuendo or partial nudity. I consume tons of adult content media, close to none of them can be considered XXX or even 'X' as in there is no sex at all, so it's even further from anything hardcore.Ī medium is considered adult-oriented as soon as there is some explicit nudity, no sex involved. Stop with your obsession with hardcore, seriously, stop.Īs I said, I said hardcore because they said hardcore.Īnd no, believe me, there is a world between adult and hardcore. So Steam enforces that category more then you think.Īnd for Steam it makes a lot of sense to force the AO category, as they could otherwise get in a lot more trouble in those countries that do not allow or have stricter regulation around selling that type of content.

This is there because a lot of publishers don't want their games in there due to a big loss of visibility and even cutting of a lot of countries from buying the game. It is not the first time I see Steam force this category on a game. Not really, there are 2 ways to get into the AO rated category and that is either by choice of the publishers or Steam forces it if they deem your submitted content that way. Seriously, it literally makes no sense for Steam to be the ones to set the Adult only flag when the game Devs have ALWAYS been able to do that themselves.

Not to mention the one game where the adult only tag was given incorrectly by the Devs themselves. It would make no sense for Steam itself to do that especially with all the games on Steam adult only. I can think of plenty of games that had the Devs themselves set the game as Adult Only. There's just too much evidence against that. Originally posted by davidb11:That directly contradicts every single game on Steam with the Adult Only rating only given by the Devs.
